COACH D’AVERSA AFTER EMPOLI-PARMA 4-0: “NOW WE’VE ONLY TO BE FOCUSED ON OUR WORK”

Empoli, 17th February 2018 – In the end of the game lost against Empoli, Coach D’Aversa has met journalists in the mixed zone.

“We worked hard for this game, but we faced a better shaped team as Empoli. We had the chance to equalize the match in the first half with Da Cruz, but we missed it. In the past matches we scored a lot on free kicks, now we conceded a goal on a free kick, and we got only a yellow card: to avoid counterattacks it’s important to stop our opponents even with a foul”.

“We’re gutted for the result, now we have to to work, to be focused on what we have to do. The club trust in me, but even my players have to do it: they must demonstrate this by working hard from the next training session”.
